WARNING...............LONG POST!!!!!!!!

Our second day..well first full day....we went to Lexington to visit the Kentucky basketball museum and Rupp Arena. Let me tell you...after that day I was SO GLAD to have Kim help us around the next few days. I guess being in a new city and having NO clue what we were doing didn't help... So here are some pictures from our day in Lexington...

Derek standing next to a basketball player...I don't remember his name. They told us that the uniforms on these players were authentic and when they were made the uniforms were put on them.
Dad and Derek getting ready to look at ALL the Kentucky stuff
Look at this cute kid
Mom and Cerah..OMG a picture of me!!!
Derek standing in front of the trophies
What a cool group of Fox kids!!
Derek took this picture...good job
Mom with her two cuties
Derek waiting to be put in the game
He got to play some ball on a little floor they had in the museum

And then he got to play a virtual game...it was soo funny watching him on the TV screen
Can we go now???
Rupp Arena...the floor wasn't down because it just got back from being sealed..I think that's what he said....but we still got to go in..and it was HOT no air was on
Going into the locker room...SOO COOL
Derek got to put on a size 16 shoe...
How am I gonna run with this on??

Lots of growing to do

He also got to sit in the area where they have the press conferences...
Where the team practices and where they play games are in two different buildings. Lexington owns Rupp Arena. So the team has to practice on campus..and you know we had to go there too.. Cerah and i stayed in the car
Derek standing at the front entrance
A national championship trophy!!!
The practice floor

We had a lot of fun.
Sorry about the long post BUT there are about 40 pictures I DIDN'T put on... I take tooo many pictures :)

I'm not sure I would have been much help on this day. :) I'm glad you guys figured it out, though! :)

Wow, I had no idea there was a basketball museum. Bryant would love that! I can't believe how big the basketball shoe looks on Derek's foot! It's almost as big as his whole leg.

Glad you had a fun time. I enjoyed seeing the pictures.
