Derek's game was pretty exciting..well maybe.During warm ups Derek was playing 1st base and someone threw the ball towards him. The ball bounced from his glove and hit him in the nose. He didn't cry just looked a little scared. I look up from talking to the coaches wife and see Derek walking towards us with a scared look. Then I see it...BLOOD dripping from his nose. OH CRAP!!!! We took him over to the concession stand and got it all cleaned up. He said he was fine and was more worried about if he was going to play 1st base again. Well when it was time to take the field the coach put him at short stop.OH NO... Derek threw a fit. He wanted to play 1st base. We told him the coach just wanted to make sure he was OK. He said.."I'm fine I want to play first base". Well he ended up sitting out that inning because he was so pissed. So then he got to play and got 4 outs!!!!! I'm sooo proud of him that he wasn't scared to go back out to the field. GREAT JOB DEREK!!!
Cerah has taken up a pretty great habit.... BURPING!!!!!!!! When she burps she says "PIG". It was cute at first because Derek did the same thing. UNTIL..... She can make herself burp 5 times in a row...with "PIG" between each burp. Holly I know you're impressed :) She takes after her momma. I can burp with the best if them :) Right Holly ??? :) :) Yeah I know...real lady like right Larry :)
I'm gonna get some pictures on today...HOPEFULLY this afternoon when Cerah is napping.

Luckily we made it through Bryant's baseball season with only one injury... one that didn't include blood... but was just as painful. A baseball to the nuts! Yep, even at 5 they cry like babies when their "little guys" are hit. Like Derek, Bryant just got right back out there. They are so much alike!
You should post a video of Cerah burping and saying Pig. I would love to see it. -Jenny

Burping, lol Carson hasn't learned that yet, he just asks me WHY about everything now, lol
I have to admit that I'm a pretty good burper too. I am both proud and ashamed of that fact!
