As many of you know my Aunt Diane is battling lung cancer. She was admitted to the hospital yesterday and isn't feeling to well. They are waiting for the results of a few more tests. I did talk to my mom (who's been there since last Monday) and she said that my aunts right lung has collapsed. She has been given some medicine to help her sleep. If I understood my mom right, they're starting another type of chemo in 3 days.
Please pray for her and our family as this battle against this monster if fought. I know you don't "know" me or my family but you may know someone who has dealt with this.
Thanks in advance for all your prayers. I know my blogger pals are the
GREATEST!!
I guess that's why I love ya:)
They are still having the benefit this Saturday... so we hope it all goes well.

Sending prayers her way now.
Sorry you and your family are having to go through this. Please know that your aunt and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. Hugs.
I am a member of my school's Relay for Life team. If you don't know anything about it, it is for cancer research. We have been the top money raiser for the past three years, raising over $10,000 dollars as a team. That is just one team, and we live in a small area!!! We do an all-night walk and this year it is May 31-June 1. We take turns walking all night from 6pm until 10am. There is a survivor lap to kick things off. I walk for many people whom I have lost to cancer and I will include your Aunt. I have you and your family in my prayers!
I've been where you are. Many prayers going up with your family's name on it.

Just wanted to let you know, her lung did not collapse and she wasn't starting chemo in 3 days..the 3 day thing was, if her stomache was still bothering her in 3 days, they were gonna do a scope. We missed you at the benefit..
