We just got back from the vet. Peja isn't doing well and we will have to put her to sleep wither tonight or tomorrow. She has tumors on her liver and spleen. Since she's an older dog she wouldn't be a candidate for surgery.
So I brought her home so everyone could say goodbye. I'm so dreading telling the kids. I know it's gonna be tough on them.

So so sorry...We have a golden retriever who is 11-1/2 and I think we probably won't have her too much longer. Some days she is ok and others she seems tired.
I am starting to look for another puppy soon...not that another dog could take her place, but she has grown up with my kids (15,12,9) and I know it is going to devistate them when the time comes.
I will keep you all in my prayers.
